RRSC Registration – What to Expect Next:

  1. Be sure to follow the registration steps on the registration tab of www.rioranchosoccer.com . The checklist has four main steps (please visit the registration tab for complete details). Be sure to complete every step to not delay your registration.

  2. Visit the uniform tab of www.rioranchosoccer.com to learn how to purchase your new RRSC Adidas Uniform for the Fall 2008/Spring 2009 season and other required and suggested soccer gear.  

  3. Can’t wait? Participate in a Summer Soccer Activity to get ready for the fall season. Visit www.rioranchosoccer.com/summer to learn more.

  4. Please be patient. RRSC is largely a volunteered based organization. We work as diligently as possible to form and assign teams. Coaches will start contacting parents regarding team placement about 3 weeks before the start of the season.

    If you have a special request regarding team placement or coach assignment, we will do our best to fulfill your request. However, due to the large number of players, we cannot guarantee all requests.

  5. Practice schedules and fields are not yet determined. Coaches will communicate the place and time for practice after registration is closed and teams have been formed.

  6. The fall season runs for 8 weeks with the first matches the Saturday after Labor Day. Practices begin 2 weeks beforehand. The spring season also runs for 8 weeks starting the last weekend of February or the first weekend of March. Coaches may also decide to register the team for tournaments. Regular season games are played through out the metro area, typically in Rio Rancho, Corrales, Alameda, Westside and/or South Valley.

  7. Become a “Responsible Sports Parent” champion. The module and quiz were a required step in the registration process. But do not just check the box, go back to www.responsiblesports.com webpage to take your knowledge and parenting skills to a new level. Also, visit Loma Colorado library to check out a copy of the “Positive Parenting DVD.”

  8. Volunteer: This too was a required step in the registration process. Ask and think hard how you can contribute to your child’s team and RRSC. We have an open door to well-intended volunteers!
